Sand Tray Therapy

Sand tray therapy is a creative therapeutic approach that allows individuals to express their feelings and experiences through the use of miniature figures and a sandbox. This process encourages self-exploration and emotional healing by providing a safe space to visualize and manipulate personal narratives. As a yoga art and wellness instructor, incorporating sand tray therapy can enhance mindfulness and facilitate deeper connections within oneself, promoting overall well-being and balance.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. EMDR therapy demonstrates that a similar sequence of events occurs with mental processes. The brain’s information processing system naturally moves toward mental health. If the system is blocked or imbalanced by the impact of a disturbing event, the emotional wound festers and can cause intense suffering. Once the block is removed, healing resumes.

Internal Family Systems is a transformative tool that conceives of every human being as a system of protective and wounded inner parts led by a core Self. We believe the mind is naturally multiple and that is a good thing. Just like members of a family, inner parts are forced from their valuable states into extreme roles within us. Self is in everyone. It can’t be damaged. It knows how to heal. It is also a way of understanding personal and intimate relationships and stepping into life with the 8 Cs: confidence, calm, compassion, courage, creativity, clarity, curiosity, and connectedness.
